Welcome to Redlands Law School. This term we are studying Civil Law, in particular the law of tort. Although for some, not as appealing as Criminal Law, the law of tort is very interesting with cases that span many centuries. Much of tort law is common law although parliaments have been recently inclined to pass legislation that over-rules or supplements the existing common law.
